You’ll provide leadership and direction to the local government grant liaison team, which manages operational relationships with local government to ensure effective grant portfolio management. You’ll act as the single point of contact with local government, identifying issues and delivering resolutions while monitoring grant performance and risk. You’ll drive the team to adopt dynamic resourcing and foster agility to address emerging issues and patterns in grant performance, providing targeted support as needed.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience are required, along with senior management experience in a large, complex organisation and a proven record of delivering large projects on time and within budget. You must have demonstrated experience working with local government to manage complex project risks, issues, program management and transport‑industry planning approvals, as well as expertise in economic analysis and asset‑management evaluation. Strong collaborative relationship‑building skills, a self‑starter attitude, and the ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments with tight deadlines are essential.
If you’re after impact, there’s no other organisation in Australia that delivers work on this scale. This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.
