  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PEO) in Ontario or other Canadian province, or eligibility for licensure therein is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian nuclear regulation including implementing requirements in CNSC REGDOC-2.11, -2.11.2, -2.4.1 and -2.4.4 along with relevant codes and standards such as CSA N294 and N288 series. Experience in other jurisdictions is considered an asset.
  • A four-year university degree in Engineering; postgraduate degree(s) considered to be an asset.
  • Willingness to travel to temporary work locations as required to support the role (10-25% including, but not limited to GTA, Bruce County, other Kinectrics offices, international) is an asset.
  • Be recognized for sound judgment, practical solutions, and bold innovation.
  • Experience with heavy water facilities, tritium removal, or isotope separation systems (power or medical) is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all formats and audiences.
  • 8+ years of experience in the nuclear industry, ideally in a consultancy role, including leadership of multi-disciplinary projects. Candidates with strong leadership potential and less experience may be considered for development roles.
  • Ability to obtain (or currently hold) relevant nuclear security clearance(s). Clearance applications will be facilitated by Kinectrics, as required.
  • Own risk management, resolving complex project issues independently and proactively.
  • Strong initiative, learning agility, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Familiarity with nuclear power plant or other nuclear facility operations, decommissioning, and waste management.
  • Cultivate a mindset of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
