Commercial Lease Analyst

As a Commercial Lease Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving lease abstracts, tracking monthly financial obligations of lease documents and calculating CAM reconciliations for an assigned portfolio of properties.

• Landlord/tenant billing dispute investigation and resolution
• Certificates of Insurance – maintain critical dates of expirations in database
• Analyze/process non-recurring payments for rent, real estate taxes, CPI escalations, % of sales calculations, and all other charges associated with the client’s leased property portfolio
• Review Landlord statements and invoices
• Analyze/process monthly recurring rents
• Analyze Cam Reconciliations for year end accruals & annual billings
• Work closely with property managers, retail asset managers and retailer tenants to ensure accurate lease compliance
• Research lease related issues
• Assist with annual budget process
• Abstract/data enter leases, amendments and other real estate documents
• Prepare account recs and analyze tenant accounts.
• Run reports – monthly, quarterly, rent
• Maintain data management database
• Bill tenants, collect Payments
• Calculate straight line rents
• Filing – maintaining data management lease files

• Bookkeeping, Bill Payment, Accounts Payable, Account Receivable experience; preferably in a real estate environment
• Minimum bachelor’s degree or Associates degree with several years like experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze real estate data with reports
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Thorough understanding of retail lease management
