Description

Under general supervision, the Production Specialist assists plant staff in assessing, planning, and executing plant optimization through daily preventative maintenance and continuous improvement while strictly adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires maintaining a clean, safe work area compliant with OSHA standards, inspecting and sorting materials, collaborating with plant management on production optimization, performing equipment maintenance, and supporting plant technicians with equipment adjustments and repairs.

• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and corporate safety standards, including lock‑out/tag‑out and confined‑space protocols.
• Inspect, sort, and move materials to ensure product quality and proper containerization.
• Collaborate with plant management to assess and plan production optimization.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment to preserve integrity.
• Assist plant technicians with adjustments, repairs, or replacements of fixed and rolling stock equipment.
• Resolve production interruptions and execute assigned project‑related tasks.

Requirements

The Production Specialist MRF position pays $19.00 per hour, with weekly payroll, and works the Monday‑Friday shift from 3:00 am to 11:30 am. Preferred experience includes production line sorting, daily preventative maintenance, cleaning, assisting maintenance technicians, and knowledge of lock‑out/tag‑out safety protocols.

Candidates need at least six months of relevant experience; there are no formal required qualifications beyond that. Physical demands include the ability to perform manual material handling and work in a plant environment, with accommodations available as needed.
