DER Analysis & Impact Studies : Conduct detailed DER impact studies to assess hosting capacity, voltage regulation, thermal loading, protection coordination, and power quality. Collaborate with interconnection teams to evaluate DER applications and provide technical recommendations. Support grid modernization initiatives including non-wires alternatives, advanced inverter functionality, and DERMS integration
Mentorship & Process Improvement: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies
Communication & Documentation: Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory filings
