What you would be doing

  • Interaction with customers to troubleshoot, repair, and recalibrate their existing laser-based optomechanical instrumentation remotely and in the factory.
  • Provide internal quotations for repair and/or calibration to the CAI Sales team for further liaising with customers
  • Working with the CAI Sales team to train and assist customers using CAI and ENVEA instrumentation.
  • Troubleshooting, Calibration, and QA/QC of newly manufactured and legacy laser-based optomechanical instrumentation to meet on-time volume production goals.
  • Assistance in the development and documentation of instruments, test plans, wiring schematics, and assembly procedures.

  • US citizen or permanent resident.
  • Able to travel if required.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
  • Degree in Engineering Technology (Electrical, Optical or Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Ability to use essential MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Some lifting and moving will be necessary up to 50lbs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and troubleshoot circuits from wiring and circuit board schematics, constructing instrumentation from mechanical drawings.
  • Fluent English.
