Assist Managers in a variety of project administrative duties
Lead planners, designers, and technicians in completing tasks, providing frequent peer reviews on their work

Lead technical writing and development of reports and proposals
Serve as Project Manager (PM) and Lead Technical Professional (LTP) on a variety of multimodal transportation planning and conceptual design projects
Participate in relevant training sessions and conferences to stay current with industry developments

Bachelor’s degree in urban planning or related field is required. Master’s degree and AICP certification are preferred
Knowledge of multimodal traffic data, safety, forecasting, and analysis principles
Ability to effectively prioritize, assign work, and produce high quality deliverables
Skills to interpret and summarize design plans, planning recommendations, and official documents
Ability to work across disciplines (planning, roadway, traffic, structures, drainage, landscape, etc.) to identify and develop implementable multimodal transportation plans and conceptual designs
Minimum of 10 years of experience with progressively more complex responsibilities in planning and conceptual design
Ability to work independently and as part of a team on deadline-driven activities
Knowledge of planning principles, policies, laws, and typical demographic data sets
Ability to use Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other standard Office Products
Skills to lead teams, build relationships, serve clients, and pursue projects
Knowledge of public involvement practices, including local government, MPO, PD&E, and NEPA processes
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of multimodal transportation planning, land use planning, and conceptual design for pedestrians, bicyclists, trail users and transit riders
Skills to develop easily understandable and technically accurate conceptual design graphics
