The Coordinator, Construction Services oversees medium‑complexity construction, professional services and service contracts throughout the construction phase. The role ensures all contract requirements are met and that work quality aligns with both corporate and Client‑Partner expectations. Daily interaction with contractors, consultants and Client‑Partners is required to address issues such as scope changes, progress claim reviews and contract interpretation.
Key responsibilities include managing and administering contracts, coordinating day‑to‑day contractual issues, and monitoring project schedules. The coordinator serves as the primary liaison with Client‑Partner representatives, negotiates change orders, and maintains comprehensive site activity records. Developing strong relationships across DCC, industry partners and internal service lines is essential for effective risk management and quality assurance.
Additional duties cover financial oversight of contracts, coordination of consultant reviews and third‑party testing, and enforcement of health, safety, industrial security and environmental standards. The position also supports or leads business development initiatives and may undertake other assigned tasks as needed.
Candidates must possess a college diploma in engineering, applied science or a related field, plus at least four years of relevant experience; certification such as Certified Engineering Technologist is preferred. Required knowledge includes construction methods, products, legislation, and project‑contract‑risk management principles, along with health‑and‑safety management. Proficiency with relevant software, the ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and strong risk‑management skills are also essential.
The role operates in typical construction site environments, requiring basic safety equipment, and includes office work five days a week with occasional travel. Employees benefit from a competitive compensation package that includes extensive health and wellness allowances, family and retirement benefits, and generous paid‑leave options.
