Prepare CAD files for programming
Complete all material and time tracking operations timely and accurately
Design and program custom parts
Maintains work area cleanliness throughout shift and end of shift work
Stay informed of current inventory sizes and colors
Specify correct materials in work orders released to the floor
May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling
Communicate to Lead, Production Supervisor and Plant Manager when quality issues arise that could impact final product to customer.
Assist with other duties when needed and properly trained for. (i.e. miscellaneous AutoCAD design work, assisting with the production floor)
Programming of cut files for the CNC router and other machines
Adheres to all Health and Safety Programs Rules, Procedures and Polices while on the production floor.
Notify Production Supervisor immediately if there is a risk of not completing work on time per production schedule
Adheres to all Quality Standards during programming and hand off
