The HR Generalist will coordinate and manage the full onboarding lifecycle to ensure a seamless and positive experience for new hires, supporting engagement, productivity, and retention. They will oversee onboarding activities, including scheduling and facilitating New Hire Orientation sessions, preparing materials, and ensuring strict I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
The role includes processing all new hire documentation and maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant personnel records such as benefits enrollment, PTO accruals, wage histories, and employment files. Additional duties involve providing interview scheduling support, coordinating logistics between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters, and assisting with day‑to‑day administration of HR functions while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
The HR Generalist will support compliance efforts by ensuring accurate reporting, required notices, disclosures, and documentation are completed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, including those applicable to West Coast employees. They will also review, reconcile, and process monthly benefits invoices, identify discrepancies, and work with vendors to ensure timely resolution.
Timberline Construction Corp. ("TCC") is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Human Resources Generalist to support core HR operations in an onsite capacity. This role will focus on talent acquisition support, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and HR recordkeeping. The ideal candidate brings a strong operational mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and have at least five years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role. Experience supporting employees across multiple states—especially on the West Coast—and familiarity with iSolved HRIS or construction industry experience are considered pluses.
Core competencies include exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time‑management skills, ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and solid knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and benefits administration. Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, is required.
