This position reports to the Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and will also report to the FP&A Services hub team lead. It contributes to the Robotics & Discrete Automation R&D effort in Bangalore, India, and follows an onsite work model.
The Corporate Functional Controller is responsible for financial oversight, governance, and performance management of corporate functions such as HR, IT, Legal, Procurement, and Marketing, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, budgeting discipline, and strategic financial support to functional leaders.
- Lead FP&A activities including budgets, forecasts, long‑range plans and variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal controls, US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory standards.
- Drive governance and cost management by monitoring OPEX, CAPEX, headcount and productivity metrics.
- Act as a strategic business partner, providing insights, supporting vendor negotiations and influencing decisions.
- Enhance processes and drive transformation initiatives.

- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance/accounting and a CMA or CA professional certification.
- Bring 5–8 years of accounting and finance experience, including CFIN implementation.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving and detail‑oriented skills.
- Proficient in SAP CFIN, MS Office and ABB reporting tools; fluent in English.
- Able to work with diverse global teams, self‑motivated with a high commitment to quality.
