As a Senior Project Scheduler for Capital Projects, you will develop and maintain detailed schedules for electric capital infrastructure projects, interfacing with project management, engineering, construction, and other key stakeholders, using Primavera P6 and other industry tools.
- Implement project controls tools and methodology.
- Develop and support project schedules per client procedures.
- Perform critical path analysis and provide corrective actions.
- Manage schedule contingency and identify project risks with stakeholders.
- Provide regular schedule updates and report baseline deviations.
- Proactively address schedule variances.
- Support month‑end closing and phase‑gate processes.
- Maintain standardized file locations for schedule documents.
- Produce look‑ahead, actuals, and schedule quality reports.
- Assemble supporting documentation for team and client requests.
- Analyze data and build monitoring reports for decision‑making.
- Interface with project management to monitor schedule performance.
- Collaborate with cost analysts to develop time‑phased cost forecasts.
- Travel to client offices for coordination meetings as needed.

Essential qualifications include proficiency in Primavera P6, practical experience with project controls, at least seven years of relevant experience, a post‑secondary degree, strong written and verbal communication, a motivated attitude toward learning, and advanced skills in MS Excel or Access for creating interactive spreadsheets and databases; valued but not required qualifications include engineering internships, AACE or PMI certifications, and related training.

- Experience applying project controls in practice.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant project experience.
- Post‑secondary degree or graduate education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong motivation to learn and deliver high‑quality, detail‑oriented work.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and/or MS Access for interactive spreadsheets and databases.
- Engineering internship or co‑op experience with project controls, preferably in the power industry.
- AACE CST or PMI equivalent certification.
- Working towards AACE CCP, CEP, PSP, PRMP, EVP, or PMI equivalent.
- Completion of equivalent training or passing proficiency testing.
