- Rédige des devis, des études, des rapports, des avis.
- Organise et participe à des réunions techniques lors desquelles il représente sa discipline sur des projets.
- Préparer des plans (conception) de divers types de systèmes de télécommunication et câblage structuré (radiocommunication, téléphonie, sonorisation, contrôle d’accès, télétransmission, fibre optique, etc.).
- Conçoit et prépare des plans en CAD et en BIM (atout).
- Participe à l’évaluation des coûts du projet de même qu’à l’analyse des soumissions pertinentes.
- Assure le soutien technique sur demande ou tout au cours du processus de réalisation des travaux. Vérifie la conformité des dessins d’atelier. Modifie les plans selon les demandes de changement. Participe, sur invitation, à la validation de la liste d’anomalies pour acceptation des travaux.

- Participer à la mise en service des équipements.
- Détient un diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en technologie de télécommunication, l’électronique, automatisation ou électrique.
- A une bonne connaissance des normes électriques.
- Possède 3 ans d’expérience en conception de systèmes de télécommunication installés dans les bâtiments.
