Project Manager - Renewable Energy Construction

Description

• Prepare and present accurate and timely reports for top management.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet project specifications and standards.
• Oversee the execution of Solar PV/BESS construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, particularly ERCOT standards and regulations.
• Identify potential risks during construction and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee project closeout, including settling financial obligations, demobilizing resources, and transitioning to the O&M Department.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, codes, and company safety guidelines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for interaction, interface, and coordination with EPC contractors.
• Travel to project sites to evaluate progress against schedule, assess actual versus estimated costs, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors while enforcing compliance with the terms of the EPC contract.
• Develop detailed construction plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements, maintaining adequate documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of Solar PV/BESS construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
• Strong leadership, business acumen, and assertiveness.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage conflict effectively and maintain accountability.
• Expertise in risk management, schedule tracking, and construction quality assurance.
• Ability to foster a positive team environment and motivate others toward shared goals.
• Familiarity with ERCOT standards and regulations.
