Architect IV develops technical aspects of projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions. They are responsible for design development and construction document production and serve as a subject matter expert on specialized design.
The role leads design efforts, specifies architectural requirements, and guides projects from concept through design development to documentation. It includes conducting site investigations, leading meetings, supervising architectural staff, and ensuring finished plans, specifications, and material approvals meet project standards.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in architecture, be a licensed Registered Architect, and have at least eight years of experience. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, LEED Accredited Professional status, and proficiency with tools such as Revit, SketchUp, InDesign, Newforma, Deltek Vision, and Microsoft Office. Strong communication, presentation, code knowledge, and planning abilities are essential.
