Description

Additional duties include managing QA personnel, delivering employee training, controlling purchased items and services, verifying corrective actions, and conducting data analysis, trend monitoring, and root‑cause investigations. The focus is on engineering, design, and consulting, with approximately 10‑15% travel required for audits, surveillance, or inspections at company locations and supplier facilities.

• Lead and host quality assurance audits.
• Identify and resolve project problems; support procurement of engineered products and materials.
• Develop and implement project quality plans.
• Manage QA staff and conduct employee training.
• Control purchased items and services; verify effective corrective actions.
• Perform data analysis, trend monitoring, and root‑cause investigations.
• Travel 10–15% to company sites and supplier facilities for audits and inspections.

Requirements

Candidates must not require sponsorship for work authorization in Canada and may need access to U.S. export‑controlled information, requiring citizenship in an eligible country. Essential qualifications are a BS or MS in engineering from a CEAB‑accredited or ABET‑accredited program, at least five years of QA experience in the nuclear or other regulated industry, proficiency with MS Office, and strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills. Preferred but not required are knowledge of CSA, NQA, and ISO standards, NQA‑1 Audit Team Leader certification, prior QA manager experience, and a P.Eng license.

• Hold a BS or MS in engineering from a CEAB‑accredited or ABET‑accredited program.
• Minimum five years of QA experience in the nuclear or other regulated industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and possess strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of CSA, NQA, ISO standards and NQA‑1 Audit Team Leader certification (preferred).
