Identify and ensure the resolution of issues that have significant impact on the Division
Develop and take lead responsibility for the key processes/recovery actions for business continuity (disaster recovery); ensure adequate planning and testing
Ensure Division complies with all relevant legislation, regulations and statutory guidelines, including Health and Safety obligations
Complete accurate and robust forecasting and planning in line with Regional requirements
Ensure the Finance team are fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these, in terms of communication, training and development, and the organisation of the department’s workload
Take responsibility for all financial management and reporting
Manage payment processing to ensure an accurate and timely service, using the Group systems
Take responsibility for Administration and Office Services (in the absence of an Office Manager)
Input into feasibility modelling and support the development of rolling growth plans through financial forecasting and planning
Ensure the implementation and use of Group IT systems in line with Group policy
Promote and act in accordance with Group values, systems, policies and procedures
Ensure adherence with the Group Accounts Manual as regards Cash Management; operate and control all activities within the cash budgets

Experience of managing budgets/cost control, and planning and organising work to meet targets
Highly numerate individual with strong IT and financial analysis skills, coupled with the ability to interpret data and assess impacts on the business
Self-confidence, decisiveness, resilience and ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A professionally qualified accountant with considerable post qualification experience in a senior commercial accounting role, ideally within the house-building sector
Appropriately reporting to the MD and Divisional Board in line with the standard format and schedule
