  • Knowledge of U.S. residential energy markets, DER aggregation, or VPP programs.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to also dive into technical details when needed.
  • Comfortable working across hardware, firmware, and software domains.
  • 5+ years of product management or closely related experience, ideally with 1–3 years in energy storage, solar, or power electronics.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA.
  • Experience collaborating with contract manufacturers or ODMs on platform development.
  • Customer-centric approach — able to translate technical complexity into clear value.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, fast-moving projects, and a small, high-impact team environment.
  • Technical fluency with battery systems, inverters, EMS platforms, and grid interconnection requirements.
  • Strong technical foundation paired with a product management mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with UL 9540, IEEE 1547, NEC, NFPA 855, and other energy codes.
  • Excellent communication skills with both engineering teams and executives.
  • Background in systems engineering, field applications engineering, or firmware/hardware development with transition into product strongly preferred.
  • Experience with product lifecycle tools (Jira, Confluence, PLM systems).
  • Proven ability to ship complex hardware + software systems from concept through production.
