What you would be doing

  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Align Demand Plan processes to improve forecast accuracy
  • Develop sales forecast with Business, Product Line and Marketing leaders
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Routinely interact with internal and external customers
  • Interact with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure priorities are set and aligned to meet customer on-time deliveries
  • Facilitate demand planning meetings and strive to achieve consensus with Product Management, Sales and Demand Planning.
  • Improve the customer experience
  • Lead the Demand portion of the S&OP process to align all stakeholders on next 12-18 months plans
  • Implement and improve planning processes and systems
  • Maintain accuracy of planning data in ERP system
  • Define and implement metrics to measure planning performance
  • Manage multiple complex projects

  • Master’s degree with specialization in Supply Chain or Operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field
  • Strategic Thinking
  • Project Management, APICS, or other related certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in supply chain demand planning and continuous improvement initiatives with relevant software applications.
  • Problem Solving/Analysis
  • Business Acumen
  • Experience with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process. Good facilitation skills are required.
