Oversee project budgets, analyze performance, and initiate actions to control scope, schedule, and cost performance. Proactively measure progress and take actions to ensure budgets and deadlines are achieved. Approve project plans, execute contract strategies, and control expenditures. Ensure compliance with project management and quality management processes and procedures, assuring projects are completed within the approved scope, schedule, and budget.

Oversee the overall management and control of project unit budgets, including O&M and Capital.
Participate in project team scheduling and budgetary planning processes.
Collaborate with the Coordinator on risk definition, cost, and Mitigation Action analysis.
Provide recommendations on policies and goals, implementing new/revised processes and procedures according to established guidelines.
Maintain and oversee document control processes.
Attend Executive management meetings, providing and presenting reports and cost-schedule-risk views as required.
Maintain project accountability overview, ensuring compliance with FERC, NERC, and other applicable regulations.
Attend and Lead Cost & Schedule Meetings.
Coordinate with other departments, consultants, attorneys, utilities, regulatory agencies, government agencies, and major customers. Represent the company and testify in regulatory hearings or at Federal, State, or local agency or municipal meetings as needed.
Manage internal and external project resources within the project unit, setting goals, and undertaking action plans to accomplish program management objectives.
Inform management and project teams regarding cost and schedule performance variances and corrective actions required.
Interface with municipal stakeholders and local permitting agencies.

Knowledge of the main configuration and general arrangements of networks (substations, overhead lines, and cable) infrastructures.
Strong public presentation skills and the ability to summarize concepts using Microsoft Project.
Ability to mobilize team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Proven ability to lead teams and work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with stakeholders, clients, and team members
Proficient in risk management and mitigation plans.
PMP Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant experience in the energy industry with 3-5 years relevant project management or engineering experience
Exhibit exceptional leadership skills.

Experience in integrating scheduling IT tools and software (MS Project/Primavera) with costs and resource requirements.
MBA Preferred
