The successful candidate will be competent in the full range of HTRW activities—including investigations, studies, designs, remediation, short‑term operations and maintenance, as well as Military Munitions Response actions. They will also lead business development, marketing activities, and implementation of record‑keeping, administrative, and quality‑control programs, serving as the primary point of contact for coordination with the USACE Huntsville Center and potentially Redstone Arsenal.
- Assist with AECOM’s Munitions Response Business Development for opportunities released by USACE Huntsville Center.
- Serve as munitions response Capture Manager; lead proposal efforts including technical approach, pricing, and managing support staff.
- Serve as a Deputy Program and Client Manager for the USACE Huntsville Center.
- Provide guidance preparing munitions response proposals, executing projects, and delivering the program.
- Support delivery of existing munitions response investigations, removal actions, and decontamination and disposal efforts.

AECOM’s Federal Environmental Portfolio is seeking an experienced Senior Project/Program Manager for immediate employment in or near Huntsville, Alabama. The role focuses on account management, pursuit and management of new prime contracts and FFP/CPFF task orders, with oversight of cost, schedule and quality.
- BS/BA in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology or related earth science field.
- Eight years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
- US citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a US Security Clearance.
- Fifteen-plus years’ experience as a Project Manager of federal projects.
- Five-plus years’ experience managing Munitions Response and CWM task order work for USACE Huntsville Center.
- High degree of self‑motivation and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with USACE Huntsville Center and Redstone Arsenal, AL.
- Proximity (two‑hour drive) to USACE Huntsville Center and/or Redstone Arsenal; willing to travel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Knowledge of project financial accounting, reporting, and controls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
- Advanced report writing skills.
- Organizational management skills and detail‑oriented work.
- Experienced on MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classification.
- Demonstrated proposal‑writing skills; Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals.
- Demonstrated ability to market and win work successfully and effectively.
- Advanced knowledge of DoD and USACE MMR focusing on CWM requirements and processes.
