Construction Superintendent

Description

The Superintendent will oversee daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met. This individual will be the on-site leader driving project execution and partnering closely with the Project Manager and field teams.

• Maintain and update project schedules, identifying issues early and implementing solutions.
• Enforce all safety protocols and site policies, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure work meets plans and specifications.
• Assist with project documentation, reporting, and closeout.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and internal teams.
• Oversee day-to-day jobsite operations for higher-education renovation projects.
• Work on impactful renovation projects within an established, reputable construction organization.

Requirements

Our client, a well-established general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality institutional renovations, is seeking a Superintendent to support upcoming higher-education renovation projects in the Weatherford area. This role is an excellent fit for a proven Superintendent—or a strong Assistant Superintendent or Project Engineer who is ready to step into greater responsibility.

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Experience in commercial construction required; higher-education renovation experience strongly preferred.
• Open to candidates currently in Assistant Superintendent or Project Engineer roles who are prepared to advance.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field coordination, and safety procedures.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
