In this hands‑on position you will assemble, test and troubleshoot diesel engines and generator cabinets while mentoring newer technicians. You will follow work instructions, verify alignment with schematics, perform torque audits, leak tests and quality inspections, and document issues using Continuous Improvement cards.

The Seguin, Texas plant is hiring a Production Technician III for the Power Generation Operations team. The role works the first shift, Monday‑Thursday 5:00 am‑3:30 pm, with overtime as needed. The position does not include relocation assistance and candidates must pass background, drug and medical screenings.

Successful candidates will have at least six months of manufacturing experience (or a relevant degree), mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret technical documents, and proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office. Strong problem‑solving skills, safety awareness and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.

Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience or relevant college degree; mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read, write and interpret English technical documents.
Intermediate proficiency with computers, tablets and Microsoft Office.
Experience with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work; strong problem‑solving skills.
Physical ability to sit/stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 35 lb.
Preferred: 1+ year product assembly experience, familiarity with complex electrical assembly instructions, PLEX system, electrical cabinet assembly/repair, and prior leadership or training experience.
