  • Performance Evaluation – Establish structured systems for supplier performance tracking, provide feedback through periodic evaluations, and promote continuous improvement to meet ABB standards.
  • Supplier Quality Management – Establish a “Zero Defect” culture across the supply base by increasing supplier quality awareness and supporting incoming quality control activities.
  • Collaboration & Qualification – Work with sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing teams for new supplier assessments, part qualifications (PPAP), and to resolve quality or delivery barriers.
  • Audit & Continuous Improvement – Plan and conduct supplier audits, perform root cause analyses, and implement improvement initiatives focused on process standardization and waste elimination.

  • Educational Qualification – B.E/B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience – Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality control and manufacturing environments.
  • Lean & Six Sigma – Proficient in Statistical Process Control with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Technical skills – Working knowledge of IEC/IS standards and practical experience in switchgear and control gear systems.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge – Well-versed in assembly processes, SPMs (Special Purpose Machines), and Lean manufacturing practices.
  • Quality Tools Skills – Detailed understanding of SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, CAPA/8D, and demonstrated ability to apply them effectively for quality control and problem-solving.
  • Systems & Standards – Conversant with SAP and ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
