Assist in preparation of various internal and external reports
Oversight and completion of monthly inventory capitalization models
Prepare/review monthly journal entries associated with inventory models and various other operational transactions associated with inventory functions.
Perform/review various monthly account reconciliations, investigate unreconciled balances or variances between general ledger and various source documents
Prepare/review monthly journal entries associated with the freight and distribution yard functions.
Ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, maintaining updated documentation and providing recommendations as appropriate
Support ongoing efforts focused on streamlining, improving, and automating processes

Ability to understand issues, demonstrate resourcefulness and pro-actively resolve problems and manage multiple projects in a timely manner
Able to handle confidential information in a mature manner
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner
Solid organizational skills: task prioritization and effective time management
