In this role you will ensure the smooth operation of wind turbines by performing maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and addressing system failures, thereby delivering clean and reliable power to local communities.
- Maintain and repair wind turbines with your team to keep communities powered.
- Follow safety protocols and conduct safety inspections.
- Collaborate to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
- Document work and continuously improve operational processes.
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Climb stairs and vertical ladders up to 60‑100 m and supervise confined‑space work.
- Lift, push, pull or carry items up to 50 lb.
- Participate successfully in all required training courses and practical exercises.
- Ensure combined weight of employee, PPE and gear does not exceed 300 lb (PPE up to 40 lb).

The position demands physical stamina, including prolonged standing, walking, climbing ladders up to 100 m, lifting up to 50 lb, and meeting safety certifications such as LOTO, fall arrest, high‑angle rescue and confined‑space training.
- Accurately time‑code work activities to track duration, progress and efficiency.
- Hold a Wind Technician certificate (≥6 months) or 1 year wind turbine experience or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields.
- Demonstrate strong problem‑solving abilities and an engaged work approach.
- Work well with others and thrive in collaborative environments.
- Physically fit, able to work in varied conditions and at height.
- Proficient in English – able to read, speak and follow instructions.
- Possess a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Established safety culture and inclusive, collaborative workplace.
- Use telephones, radios or similar communication devices.
- Maintain visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and hand‑eye coordination.
- Obtain certifications for LOTO, electrical qualification, fall arrest, high‑angle rescue, emergency descent and confined‑space safety.
