Validate environmental analytical data in accordance with USEPA, regional, and state-specific validation guidelines to ensure data quality objectives are met.
Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and field/work site notebook.
Safetly perform work in the office and field; fieldwork may occur in all seasonal weather conditions, using equipment (with an ability to left and move approximately 50 pounds without assistance) and operating vehicles on behalf of the company.
Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements.
Manage and report environmental analytical data and geo-environmental data through multiple software platforms.
Work with laboratories to ensure data meets client requirements and project data quality objectives.
Under general supervision, collect and compile chemical and environmental data from samples of air, soil, water, sludge, and other matrices for scientific analysis of chemical contamination.
Coordinate environmental laboratory services and field sampling events.
Prepare data validation narratives and data usability reports.
A member of and/or actively participate in local professional practice organizations.

Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
Basic knowledge of USEPA analytical methods, including experience in operation of laboratory instrumentation and associated data systems.
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, or closely related discipline.
Ability to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.
Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training.
Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or closely related discipline.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Work) with advanced-level Excel.
Experience writing analytical SOPs, QAPPs, FSPs and other quality management documents.
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
Prior experience including internships strongly desired.
Experience with EQuISTM Professional.
40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120).
