What you would be doing

Mask areas with tape and paper as needed.
Maintain inventory of supplies (paint, sandpaper, PPE, etc.).
Clean equipment, tools, and workspaces using appropriate solvents.
Apply coatings (paint, varnish, plastic, etc.) to metal, plastic, plastic, foam, and welded parts using spray guns or dipping methods.
Prepare surfaces by washing, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers/sealers.
Operate gauges and safety ventilation systems; replace filters as needed.
Operate digital thickness gauges to ensure coating consistency.
Assist with general shop duties such as grinding, deburring, packaging, and operating machinery per supervisor instructions.
Inspect coated products for defects like bubbles or uneven finishes and perform touch-ups as necessary.
Apply protective coatings such as Rhino, Line-X, or Scorpion liners.
Mix and adjust paint or chemicals to correct viscosity and consistency.
Set up and operate spray equipment, adjusting nozzles for proper coverage.
Consistently follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Maintain bed liner equipment (spray guns, pumps, hoses, etc.).
