As a Project Controller at Geronimo Power, you will play a pivotal role in supporting multiple projects with budgets ranging from $1 million to $4 billion, focusing on accounting and finance-related functions. This position is particularly critical as Project Controllers are often assigned to significant projects, typically those exceeding $200 million. In this capacity, you will act as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and trusted advisor to Project Delivery Team and Executive Management, providing them with meaningful insights and accurate analyses to facilitate informed decision-making. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and developing the careers of business team members, establishing trust and credibility with upper-level management, and ensuring effective communication across various departments. The role demands strong leadership skills, a relentless ambition for continuous improvement, and polished technical and soft skills.
Must be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities
Managerial experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree is required
Recognizes when and who to escalate specific conversations/issues
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
5-10 years of financial/data analysis or public accounting experience
Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future
Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills
Understands financial reporting, including the upstream effects of reporting to other areas of the organization
Understands, substantiates, and reconciles all financial reports monthly and annually

Pay Range for the posted level: Minimum of $140,000 – 160,000.00
