The Warehouse Associate reports to the Branch Manager and/or Warehouse Manager/Lead, works full‑time as a non‑exempt employee, and is responsible for providing excellent internal and external customer service by following proper shipping and receiving procedures, communicating effectively, and adhering to safety practices.
The role involves a range of warehouse operations, including loading and unloading delivery vehicles, operating forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode readers, and interacting daily with customers to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode readers.
- Interact with customers daily to provide service.
- Separate transfers and load them onto the appropriate trucks.
- Determine the best shipping method according to company policy.
- Verify shipments against packing slips, inspect for damage, and sign receipt paperwork.
- Handle returns, label deliveries, and allocate products to designated locations.

Candidates should have prior warehouse experience preferred, be able to meet safety‑sensitive equipment requirements, operate a motor vehicle, forklift, and current hardware/software, and possess a high school diploma or GED.
Physical demands include standing, sitting, frequent lifting of heavy objects (up to 100 lb occasionally, 50 lb frequently, and 20 lb constantly), and close‑vision tasks for computer work.
