The Equipment Commissioning Manager (EqCM) supports the Equipment North America (EqNA) organization by overseeing equipment start‑up, warranty, and service coordination. Reporting initially to the Regional Service Manager and later to the Branch Service Manager, the EqCM serves as the single point of contact for customers and works closely with the Customer Resource Coordinator, Service Mechanical teams, and the HVAC Equipment Operations Manager. The role ensures service scopes are fulfilled, startups are completed, and warranty certifications are delivered.
- Support EqNA sales during project estimates by determining appropriate service type and project management needs
- Provide custom quotes for service items outside PCAT policy
- Verify branch technicians are trained for secured contracts and coordinate training with the Truck Based Service Manager
- Attend RTO meetings for complex or PSA projects and identify service/warranty scope concerns
- Validate PSA details with SAE/Agent Project Owner and provide necessary documentation
- Conduct weekly service turnover meetings with SAEs and Branch Operations Manager to monitor current and future service scopes
- Introduce Connected Service capabilities to customers
- Coordinate scheduled work and schedule changes directly with the EqNA customer
- Verify asset records in NxGen with CRC and SAE and ensure correct site assignment
- Manage FOB Destination deliveries with CRC and technicians, communicating updates to SAE and customer
- Ensure warranty information is correct in Warranty Navigator and resolve discrepancies with SAE and Warranty Admin
- Monitor Long‑Term Storage requirements and coordinate with SAE and customer
- Promote Pronto Forms use for pre‑start‑up checklists and technician inspections
- Complete equipment startups, resolve issues, and provide startup documentation to customers
- Record startup dates in NxGen and register equipment in Warranty Navigator, providing warranty certification
- Ensure all service requests are invoiced promptly upon completion
- Act as first point of contact for warranty requests, dispatching technicians and filing claims with CRC and WSC
- Escalate and resolve issues affecting warranty work, including parts and resource availability, to accelerate cash collection
- Facilitate technical support for EqNA customers as needed

Ideal candidates bring more than ten years of industry experience or a technical engineering/construction degree, strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Writer, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution skills are essential, as is the capability to manage numerous projects with attention to detail. Preferred qualifications include a BA in engineering or construction, HVAC equipment knowledge, and advanced MS Office expertise.
