Coordinate Safety Training activity for new and existing employees. Supervise training efficiency and advise management personnel of deficiencies.
Maintain a safe and hazard free environment by working with facility supervision and the maintenance team to ensure compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Actively participate in plant safety committee activity to promote safety awareness and compliance.
Assist in the management of OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace, conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices. Provide advice and counseling for all non-compliances.
Facilitate the training needs of individuals as outlined in the Facility EH&S Procedures and Policies.
Develop, maintain and report the company EH&S documentation.
Support Lean manufacturing and distribution activities working with the KAIZEN.

Ability to work independently and to lead multiple priorities
Proven ability to use judgment and make decisions as to the accuracy and completeness of information and work performed.
