- Coordinate Safety Training activity for new and existing employees. Supervise training efficiency and advise management personnel of deficiencies.
- Maintain a safe and hazard free environment by working with facility supervision and the maintenance team to ensure compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Actively participate in plant safety committee activity to promote safety awareness and compliance.
- Assist in the management of OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
- Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace, conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices. Provide advice and counseling for all non-compliances.
- Facilitate the training needs of individuals as outlined in the Facility EH&S Procedures and Policies.
- Develop, maintain and report the company EH&S documentation.
- Support Lean manufacturing and distribution activities working with the KAIZEN.

- Knowledge of PC software programs required to maintain process and product documentation.
- Ability to work independently and to lead multiple priorities
- Proven ability to use judgment and make decisions as to the accuracy and completeness of information and work performed.
