Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Description

• Assist with monitoring engineering/CAD resource requirement for each project within your control.
• Monitor project progress, design variations and project financial budgets.
• Maintain excellent client and design team relationships.
• Carry out engineering concept design to detailed design, tender and contract on site supervision, to completion, ensuring projects are undertaken in accordance with design briefs and that completion deadlines are achieved.

Requirements

• Good communication/presentation skills.
• Membership of a professional engineering body or working towards Chartered Engineer status is beneficial although not essential.
• Thorough knowledge of statutory legislation and standards.
• Solid UK experience of mechanical design within building services
• Any knowledge of IES and thermal modelling would be beneficial.
