Report any equipment and product deficiencies.
Handle required tasks in the office and on-site as part of Lumber Yard operations.
Assist in the creation of proposals for simple Request for Proposal offerings.
Occasionally deliver small items in a pickup truck.
Partner with Superintendents to ship material when needed.
Collaborate with vendors to continually learn more and cultivate long term relationships.
Assist the EBS team and coordinate with customers on submittals and purchase orders for upcoming jobs.
Assist with various projects throughout the division as assigned by leaders.
Read and interpret work orders (typed, handwritten, electronic).
Continually develop and maintain relationships with client and vendor base and assist in maintaining contact and relationship records of those clients and vendors.
Process sales and purchasing paperwork.
Order in special order merchandise for upcoming jobs.
Maintain the lumberyard, ensuring the yard is clear of obstructions and organized at all times.
Occasionally unload freight pallets utilizing a forklift.
Assist with routine cleaning of equipment and work area, this may include snow removal.
Distribute and invoice material to jobs.
Pull together store items for shipment.
Check outgoing orders for accuracy.
Assist in creating and maintaining a positive, rewarding work environment.
Review vendor invoices against purchase orders.
Receive and evaluate quotes for applicable scopes and alignment with bid documents.

Exceptional knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
