  • Fieldwork & Environmental Protection: Assist in the development and implementation of environmental protection measures. Ability to travel/work in the field 10% of the time, with typical travel durations of 3-4 days (office work is typically 90% of the time for this position; fieldwork can include site visits and meetings with clients and applicable regulatory agencies)
  • Data Collection & Site Evaluation: Participate in site visits to gather environmental data and assess potential environmental impacts. Support the development of technical content (text, figures, tables) for environmental reports and site feasibility assessments
  • E n vironmental Impact Assessment & Compliance : Conduct environmental reviews to assess the potential impact of proposed nuclear facilities on air, water, and land resources. Prepare environmental reports in accordance with NRC regulations, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and other applicable regulatory guidelines. Support environmental licensing applications for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Stay current on relevant environmental regulations and best practices
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Interact with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the public to address environmental concerns. Prepare presentations and reports to communicate complex environmental information to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in environmental consulting, nuclear power, or a related field
  • Experience developing technical reports, environmental reports and supporting regulatory reviews
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to com pany and client policies.
  • Working knowledge of environmental regulations (NEPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, etc.)
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship.
  • Experience working with federal or state regulatory agencies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Geology, or a related field
