Troubleshoot and provide support for cloud-based applications in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Support the configuration and automation of AWS environments using tools like Ansible.
Assist in the development and maintenance of tools for provisioning, monitoring, auditing, and de-provisioning AWS cloud infrastructure using automation tools.
Contribute to documentation and process improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Work closely with solution architects and engineers to implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions.
Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools like GitLab Runners or similar.
Support the rapid migration (lift and shift) of physical and on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud environments.
Identify and implement AWS cloud cost optimization strategies, incorporating FinOps principles where applicable.

Demonstrated FinOps ability to reduce cloud spend through cost optimization strategies and practical implementation.
Must have three years of continuous residency in the U.S. (required for government security credential).
Terraform Associate certification required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
Professional or Specialty certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).

Minimum 6 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or related fields, with a focus on AWS technologies.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software engineering practices is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders.
Strong technical documentation skills for designing and implementing AWS cloud infrastructure.
Experience and/or education in lieu of these qualifications may be considered.
Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and best practices for AWS.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
