Hand off secured projects to the Operations team
Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing
Establish labor productivities for estimate
Involvement in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project teams

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word), Bluebeam Revu, Procore, or PlanSwift
Must have at least 2 years’ experience estimating construction projects
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills
Possess a high level of attention to detail and cost analysis skills
Possess critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with computer takeoff and estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid
Must have a sharp understanding of estimating techniques and the bidding process
Local to the Boston, MA area.
Ability to work effectively both in a collaborative team environment and independently
Experience working with union representatives
Understand the market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, level or risk for work, and other factors for establishing margin percentages
Experience with estimating or managing specialty scopes of construction
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline
OSHA certification
Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work, specifications, materials, and methods
Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they’re learned
Experience with drywall, framing, acoustics, and interior finishes on commercial projects.
Ability to accurately read project schedules to determine sequencing and durations of scopes of work
