Installation Engineer

Description

• Liaise with the commissioning and service teams post-installation for handover.
• Execute installation of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways at customer sites.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical standards.
• Ensure proper handling and usage of installation tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related technical problems.
• Maintain documentation related to installation progress, issues, and quality checks.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Supervise and lead on-site technicians or contractors as required.
• Adhere to company and statutory safety norms at all times.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality installations.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Familiarity with elevator installation standards and codes (IS, EN, etc.).
• Valid driving license preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in elevator/escalator installation or related field preferred.
• Physically fit and willing to work at heights or in challenging site environments.
• Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
