The role provides support for new and existing work within the business line. Personnel will perform bolt‑up assembly for structural components in a fabrication facility and may be required to work outdoors.
- Read and interpret instructions and documentation to plan work activities.
- Visually inspect and receive material in all weather conditions.
- Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
- Compare size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
- Select equipment and lay out, position, align, and fit components for assembly and installation.

Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, and sitting, as well as occasional climbing, balancing and bending. The job involves frequent pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching, with lifting up to 25‑50 lb and carrying up to 25‑50 lb on an occasional basis.
- Hold a 1‑year certificate from a college or technical school (or equivalent education/experience).
- Possess 3‑6 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrate mathematical skills, reasoning ability, and capacity to meet the job’s physical demands.
