Participate in quarterly inventory cycle counts.
Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, approval, ordering, and payment.
Develop and implement strategies for R&M budget analysis.
Manage new orders and re-orders of material from inventory.
Manage storeroom operation to maximize storage space, organizing and eliminating items not required to be inventory.
Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids to suppliers through RFQ.
Assist production in providing products needed to perform daily activities.
Obtain proper order approvals based on policies and procedures
Guide and control colleagues across departments to ensure adherence to contractual and process standards.
Provide training and support as needed to ensure compliance with established guidelines throughout the organization.
Professional or technical degree preferred (2-year associate degree).
An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable.
A minimum of 3 years’ previous work-related experience is required. The Individual must have above average interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and develop individuals. Steel wire manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
