Function as the structural discipline lead on various power and heavy industrial projects.
Reviewing relevant codes, design documents, specifications, and construction documents to support project development.
Develop structural calculations, foundation and structural steel designs for various projects, from conceptual design through construction, including supporting structural site work.
As the structural engineer of record for assigned projects, using your professional engineering license to sign and seal structural drawings developed under your supervision.
Manage the structural engineering and design team, adhering to the established scope of work, monitor and manage the engineering cost and schedule performance.

Ability to develop material and workhour estimates as well as engineering and design schedules .
Minimum 10 years of experience in the design of steel and concrete foundations and structures for convention generation (fossil fueled) and/or nuclear power plants.
The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and be capable of collaborating with the multi-discipline engineers and designers
Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary team of engineers and designers to complete project tasks on schedule and on budget.
Professional Engineering (PE) license in any state within the US, and the ability to obtain additional licenses through comity would be considered an asset.
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
Additional experience with seismic analysis and design of structures, systems, and components for nuclear power plants is a plus.
M.S. in Structural Engineering is an asset.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership position.
Experience with industry standard engineering software such as STAAD Pro, ANSYS, Mathcad, etc.
Experience with AutoDesk Advance Steel would be considered an asset.
