Geotechnical Project Engineer

Description

• Be the Trusted Expert – Clients call us when the ground gets tricky. You’ll bring creative geotechnical solutions that make contractors (and CFOs) sigh with relief.
• Lead the Charge – Own projects from first soil boring to ribbon-cutting. You’ll run the analyses, craft the reports, and guide the field work that keeps bridges upright and budgets on target.
• Field Leadership: Plan and oversee explorations, inspections, and on-site testing (steel-toed boots meet big brains).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate engineer-speak into clear updates for designers, contractors, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Scope proposals, nail timelines, and keep clients smiling all the way to close-out.

Requirements

The Fine Print

• Design & Analysis: Slope stability, deep/shallow foundations, pile drivability, drilled shafts, retaining walls—the whole Geotech buffet.
• Heavy civil infrastructure portfolio (bridges, tunnels, dams—show us!)
• PE Certification
• Advanced numerical modeling or specialty design chops
• Strong written & verbal comms
• RFP Ninja Moves: Craft winning responses that showcase our technical edge and cost savings.
• ≥ 3 years of Geotech experience (you’ve wrestled with real soil, not just textbooks)
• You’ll juggle multiple projects, organizational Jedi skills required.
• Independent problem-solver with killer organizational skills
• Business-development curiosity—you like turning ideas into signed contracts
• M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
• Safety mindset that never takes a day off
