- Contribute to experimental design and planning.
- Apply chemistry and analytical knowledge to accelerate innovation and product development.
- Conduct physical testing on liquid paints and coated panels (e.g. viscosity, rheology, adhesion, hardness, gloss, color, sag, flow, leveling, etc.).
- Follow experimental procedures and generate reliable data promptly.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations.
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
- Apply scientific methods to experimentation and analysis.
- Prepare samples, acquire data, and document results accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with marketing/sales teams, customers, and the broader PPG technical community.
- Perform project tasks under the guidance of a senior chemist.
- Provide recommendations that support project goals.
