What you would be doing

Contribute to experimental design and planning.
Apply chemistry and analytical knowledge to accelerate innovation and product development.
Conduct physical testing on liquid paints and coated panels (e.g. viscosity, rheology, adhesion, hardness, gloss, color, sag, flow, leveling, etc.).
Follow experimental procedures and generate reliable data promptly.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
Apply scientific methods to experimentation and analysis.
Prepare samples, acquire data, and document results accurately.
Collaborate effectively with marketing/sales teams, customers, and the broader PPG technical community.
Perform project tasks under the guidance of a senior chemist.
Provide recommendations that support project goals.
