The internship splits time between sales and business development (60‑70%) and recruiting/talent sourcing (30‑40%). In sales, interns conduct outbound prospecting, support account executives with research and list building, make calls, craft outreach messages, and assist with proposals and presentations. In recruiting, they source candidates, conduct resume reviews and phone screens, support interview coordination, and learn the full recruiting process from client meetings to offer negotiations.
Interns participate in daily and weekly learning sessions covering sales tactics, recruiting best practices, and professional development. A capstone project is completed and presented at the program’s conclusion, and peers collaborate on group challenges and business simulations.
Candidates must be rising seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a sales‑related field, and should have a strong interest in business and client development. Prior experience in customer service, campus leadership, or sales is a plus, along with excellent verbal and written communication, strong organization, and the ability to meet activity goals in a fast‑paced environment.
Actalent’s summer sales internship is a 10‑week, hourly‑paid program aimed at high‑energy, sales‑driven students across the United States and Canada. Interns receive training, mentorship through shadowing and coaching, and work alongside local teams to gain hands‑on experience in business development, lead generation, client outreach, and the recruiting lifecycle. The role directly impacts the company’s consultants and clients.
Compensation is $16.50 per hour, up to 40 hours per week for the ten‑week duration. Applicants can view the company culture on Instagram and LinkedIn.
