Cheif Estimator

Description

• Support pre-construction planning and assist in bid strategy for key projects.
• Work with a collaborative team on high-profile mechanical projects.
• Mentor and develop estimating staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Review project plans, specifications, and scope to prepare accurate, competitive estimates.
• Lead the estimating process for large-scale HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects from concept through bid.
• Collaborate with project management, operations, and sales teams to ensure alignment on budgets, schedules, and constructability.

Requirements

• Proficient in estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of design-build, design-assist, and traditional delivery methods.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical construction estimating or pre-construction leadership.
• Proven experience with HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems on commercial or light industrial projects.
