Professional Engineer Diver - Bridge Inspection

Description

• Provide PE review on reports and the quality control process.
• Load rating of existing bridges.
• Perform inspections and develop reports in accordance with national bridge inspection standards requirements to determine maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform emergency inspections of bridges damaged by collision and floods.
• Manage work in the field and mentor staff, leading to the execution of projects of the highest quality.

Requirements

• ADCI Commercial Diving certification is required.
• Must be physically able to peform bridge inspections in the field
• Valid driver’s license required
• PE or ability to gain one within 6 months
• Proficient technical writing skills
• BS Degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural preferred) from an accredited University
