Machining Manager

• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations and ensure compliance across the shop floor.
• Train and develop team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage daily machining operations to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
• Implement and maintain process improvements to optimize productivity, reduce downtime, and control costs.
• Review engineering drawings and ensure components are machined to specifications and tolerances.
• Ensure proper maintenance of machines and tooling to avoid breakdowns and unplanned downtime.
• Ensure proper setup and operation of CNC machines and other machining equipment.
• Supervise and lead a team of machinists, operators, and technicians.
• Support new product development and prototype machining as required.
• Collaborate with quality, planning, and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
• Monitor machine utilization, performance metrics, and part quality; take corrective actions when needed.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Machining Manager to oversee machining operations, ensure efficient production workflows, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in machining processes (CNC, VMC, HMC, turning, milling, etc.) and experience leading teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and machining tolerances.
• Exposure to ERP systems.
• Ability to handle high-mix, low-volume or mass production setups
• In-depth knowledge of machining processes (CNC, VMC, HMC, turning, drilling, grinding, etc.).
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in machining operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficient in production planning, reporting, and shop floor management.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in ISO/TS16949 certified environments.
• Hands-on experience with machine programming and tooling selection is a plus.
