In the Ganger role you will lead the civils crew, carrying out drainage repairs and installations to the highest standards while completing daily safety documents, inspections and records, and supervising operatives to ensure seamless and timely project delivery.

Lead and supervise the civils team on drainage repair projects.
Accurately complete daily safety documentation, inspections and records.
Perform sewer repairs, manhole and chamber construction, benching, butt‑fusion welding and pipe laying.
Operate excavators up to 10 t and conduct deep manual or machine‑assisted excavations.
Maintain compliance with manual handling, abrasive wheels, Cat & Genny certifications.
Deliver projects on schedule while upholding high quality and safety standards.

Essential experience includes utility work such as sewer repairs, manhole and chamber construction, benching, butt‑fusion welding and pipe laying, plus proficiency in manual and machine‑assisted excavations. A valid CSCS operatives card is required, and SSSTS certification is desirable.

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous are confined‑space entry, NRSWA street‑works certification, experience operating excavators over 10 t, wheeled dumper operation, high‑pressure water jetting and a CPC driver card; training will be provided where needed.

Hold a valid CSCS operatives card (minimum) and preferably SSSTS certification.
Possess additional credentials such as confined‑space entry, NRSWA street‑works and CPC driver licence.
