- Evaluate data from engineering reports and documents, construction plans and documentation, municipal records, site photographs and field notes, deposition transcripts, and various other court proceedings to form conclusions;
- Communicate with clients about project details during the project life cycle and document all correspondence.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents.
- Review supplied file information, perform in-town and out-of-town inspections (including crawlspaces, attics, roofs, etc.), conduct interviews, draw floor plans, document site-specific and environmental variables, take relative elevation foundation and/or topographical measurements, obtain photographic support (with voice annotations), and document any other relevant information;
- Assisting with other forensic investigations in determining cause-and-origin of damages, construction defects, structural failures, water intrusion, and building envelope deficiencies; and

- Structural engineering education and experience preferred;
- 5-7 years of staff engineer experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with proven experience in forensic investigations, data analysis, and report writing;
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required, and
