The Systems Operations Lead role is a proactive, technically skilled position responsible for the business-as-usual availability and support of our core systems. It focuses on day-to-day technical, administrative and user support across a diverse SaaS and internal platform ecosystem, with Workday, Microsoft SharePoint, Azure and Power Apps as primary responsibilities. This newly defined role separates routine BAU support and minor enhancements from strategic development work, while also handling small user-led enhancements. The incumbent will manage downtime, plan changes and ensure systems remain secure, available and valuable.
- Ensure smooth, reliable operation and availability of key business systems (Workday, SharePoint, Azure).
- Monitor system performance, respond to incidents, and provide diagnostics and resolution.
- Support small change requests: verify, classify, and route them appropriately.
- Work across a broad SaaS ecosystem, including platforms such as Monday.com.
- Maintain IT Operations capacity for business-as-usual support of identified systems.
- Document acceptance criteria and transfer knowledge for significant system changes.
- Participate in governance processes to align work with approved priorities and strategy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of system development practices, tools, and standards.
- Stay current with platform updates, especially Workday, and propose innovation opportunities.
- Work independently, prioritize support requests, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Comfortably operate across the full IT ecosystem, coordinating SMEs and 3rd‑line support as needed.

The role requires strong experience in operating, configuring and administering Workday, SharePoint and Azure, as well as proven ability to support SaaS and cloud-based solutions. Candidates must work independently, prioritize support requests, collaborate with cross-functional teams and possess a solid understanding of change management and ITIL. Excellent communication skills are essential for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
